Looner is an American Indie Rock duo formed in 2001 in Los Angeles, California. == Background == The band is made up of husband and wife members: Angel Roché Jr. and Zoë Roché (formerly Zoë Poledouris). Zoë is the daughter of Basil Poledouris and her song Into It was featured in the movie Starship Troopers. Angel toured as drummer for Dave Navarro's solo release ''Trust No One'' on Capitol Records〔http://janesaddiction.org/tour/show/dave-navarro/2001-08-31/14/〕 and has recorded and toured on percussion for Ziggy Marley internationally for over a decade. Angel performs on Ziggy's 2013 Grammy winning album "Ziggy Marley:In Concert".〔http://www.allmusic.com/album/in-concert-mw0002461778/credits〕 In 2009, Damon Ramirez formerly from Island Records 90s trash funk band Fungo Mungo and Oslo (band) joined the duo on keyboards. Also in 2014, Magnolia Pictures' animated film ''The Hero of Color City'' featured the song ''(Why Am I So Scared )'' which was written for the film by Looner.
